Hmm – Apparently I have been negligent about posting. Oops.
In part it was unavoidable. Due to my boneheadedness, a wire in the basement was cut that should have remained intact. It took a few days to restore the phones in the house, and since Mr. Man is at this time uninterested in paying for a high-speed connection, my internet access was on hiatus.
Then, of course, was the family vacation to the Black Hills of South Dakota. What a fun trip! It was a challenge traveling with a 7-year-old and a baby, but we made it through with a minimum of uproar. We saw Wall Drug, Reptile Gardens, Bear Country, the Badlands, the Mammoth site, Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse. We paid $12 to drive the Needles Highway, only to find the roads closed due to snow. Our hotel had a water slide in it. It was fabulous!
But now I am back, and I promise to be more consistent about posting. Really. Barring any more construction snafus, I mean.
